I recently got my "not invited" notice to this fair but I really want to attend because my granddaughter lives in Louisville and I want another excuse to go out there and visit for a while. I have heard rumors of other, concurrent fairs that run next to and at the same time as the St James Court. Does anyone out there have more info to share on this subject? Done any of these shows? Anything will help.
Thanks, Kathleen

Kathleen, did you put "St. James Court" in the search box at the top? Lots of info, including: http://www.artfairinsiders.com/profiles/blogs/4th-street-section-st...

Lots of great reports from lots of different artists, photos included.
I also wanted to do this show because of a "personal" reason and I was also looking to do a show out of the northeast as we don't do many shows or travel very much. I checked around and, although I applied to both St. James and Fourth Street, was told by several artists that they preferred Fourth Street even though it's not as "prestigious" as St. James Court. I did not get into St. James Court, did get into 4th Street. I had a terrific show, the foot traffic is heavy for all four shows and a lot of people come to "spend." One of my first customers was from Dallas, flies in every year for the show and she gave me a large order to have shipped. Good luck!!!! Ann
Welcome to you on your virgin post, Kathleen. We're glad to have you here...see folks, it's easy. No one will bite. Let me rephrase that, if it is a question that has been asked and answered you might get some snide and sarcastic remarks... not from me, but from some of the other gatekeepers.
This was a good question. Come again, Kathleen.
