Who referred you to ArtFairInsiders.com? Please be specific.
No one. I was surfing the web to find as much as I could about this whole Art Fair world so that I can somehow wiggle my way in and, lo, I stumbled upon this site and became engrossed.

Hi Kathleen -
Unfortunately, the Highlands Craft Show was a bust for me. I pretty much made booth fee. It's a nice show, a lot of high-quality work, but also some 'questionable' things. It was not a good indicator when one exhibitor told me that someone on the show committee called him to ask him if he would be in the show last year. I've applied several times to get in to the show and finally got in last year - but I think most everyone who applied got accepted. If you're coming from CA, I'd strongly consider not doing it. It seemed that clothing did okay there. My jewelry was a bit too contemporary for the clientele. An 'aged crowd,' it seemed that traditional, 'conservative' work did okay there. I didn't apply this year and probably never will again. I hope that this helps. This is my experience with the show....
