Southlake, TX "Art in the Square" Report

IMG_1500.JPGThis is the kind of show that makes me proud to be a Texan. A wonderful volunteer organization (The Southlake Women's Club) rolls out the red carpet for the artists. Great hospitality, including lunch during set-up, continental breakfast, and snacks delivered to you booth. Also: great crowds of sophisticated patrons delivered to your booth. Most artists I spoke to reported strong sales.

  • I was there, too, enjoying the sunshine and the crowds. Yes, the ladies of Southlake put on a great show. Hope to do this one again next year!
  • So Travis just start a new blog and add the photo or a couple more to it. Basically, like Connie said, you gotta hit that camera icon which will allow you to add as many images as you wish. It is a simple system once you get the hang of it. One drawback to Connie's site is the fact that there is no practical info on how to use the various tools of the site when fashioning a blog. Connie needs to do a blog about the tools and how to use them. It just makes sense, doesn't it? Connie.
  • I found your photo on "your page". Here is what you need to do. Go back to your original blog post about Southlake, click "Edit Post", then in the tool bar that appears at the top of the post there is an image of a camera, click on that and it will take you to a dialogue box where you can upload the photo into the post. I tried to do it myself but the site doesn't let me edit someone else's post. Nice photo, makes me want to be a Texan too.
  • Hmmm. I posted a photo, and received a notice that it was approved....so where did it go? Help.

Nels? Larry B? I'm just a humble silversmith, and I don't seem to know nuthin' 'bout postin' no photos.
