What are the best things about art fairs
Having an opportunity to meet and share art with so many people is a joy.
Best show ever and why
Main Street, Fort Worth, 2008 - Excellent sales and wonderful crew - met so many great folks!
Who referred you to ArtFairInsiders.com? Please be specific.
Jazz by the Boulevard this year - just tons of storms swept through the area and they had to close down. Felt so sorry for the wonderful people who ran the thing!

I did not take your comment that way at all. It never occurred to me until you mentioned it.
If you think of any good shows let me know. Thanks.

I definitely plan to visit Main Street this year. I have an acquaintance (a fellow box-maker) from Nashville who is showing there. And, although we've talked and corresponded many times, we've never actually met. So, I intend to do that.;
I suppose that what I do is considered a craft that I'm attempting to elevate to an art-form in some respects.
And, I apologize for such a long-winded answer to your question.
Don
Take care.
Nice to hear from you. Yes, I've heard the Main Street show is really something. I've lived in this area for much longer than I'd care to admit and I've never attended it - even as a spectator. What other shows do you recommend in the area? About my only consistent ones in Texas are Round Top in April and Oct. and the Texas Arts and Crafts Festival in Kerrville in May. I usually pick up a few others here and there but nothing that rocks my World! What do you recommend?
Have a great day.
Don
Welcome aboard. In looking at the map it appears you and I are the only Texans in the group. I'm about 20 miles North of you - in Roanoke. Are you doing Main Street in Fort Worth this year? I wanted to give it a try but failed to realize I had to register about nine months in advance. Maybe next year.
My best to you.
