I entered the Art Fair Pledge Drive a little late, never thinking I would win anything. Somehow my mind always works in the "early bird gets the worm" channel. But I donated and entered anyway, and when to my surprise my name was selected quite far down the list I figured I didn't have much of a chance for the prize I really wanted since I was number 20 on the list. But I had nothing to lose, either, so I listed the mesh panels from Flourish as the number one choice out of 4 possibilities.
Five years ago I splurged on a 10' x 10' Trimline canopy from Flourish, and because I'm a big fan of outdoor canopy stability I also splurged on the StaBar set to keep things from shifting around unnecessarily (had a bad experience with a flimsier canopy which shall remain nameless). The only downside was that I had no money left over for the finishing touch--the mesh panels that would make the display of my paintings neat as a pin.
So-o-o-o...imagine my surprise when I saw that I had actually won those very panels! I wasn't sure at first that I had won--it seemed such a remote possibility--and I thought maybe it was just a list of everybody's first choices. After a reassuring email back from Connie I permitted myself to rejoice!
Flourish makes such a great product that I knew even five years later that the panels would still be the perfect ones for my canopy. I got contact information for them today, emailed them, and they have already scheduled shipping and I shall have my treasure soon. Their customer service is just as outstanding as their products and I will be forever grateful that they decided to support the pledge drive in such a generous way!

I would have donated regardless of any prizes being offered. This site is so helpful. Not only Connie but the many artists sharing their knowledge, experience and insights.
Not all agree but varying perspectives are great.
I was fortunate to be able to gain a prize. I've never tried Red River papers. This will give me an opportunity to try something new.

I love the ArtFairCalendar.com emails. I love to receive the emails to plan which fair to attend on the summer weekends. It only seemed natural for me to donate as part of the Pledge drive. AFI is always such a great resource for info & tips, so I'm happy to pledge each year. And YAY! I won something this year, too! I get to have a one-hour consultation with the lady herself, Connie! I can't wait to work with her to see what insights she has into how to make our art fair business more successful.
I entered the Pledge Drive not expecting to win anything, but to support Connie and the work she does with Art Fair Insiders which I read almost every day. I was very surprised when I found that we were number 6 in the prize list.
Lu and I have been considering the Canopy Weights for some time, but kept putting of the purchase of the weights. I made it my first choice and that was what we won.
I contacted Canopy Weights and they shipped them out the next day. We are very pleased with the weights and their prompt service.
We will continue to support Connie and Art Fair Insiders.
I had my eye on the copper earrings from the first time I saw the post go up! Was so disappointed when I didn't see my name pop up.. but yay for second chances! I got myself up early to get that email in and scored Mendy Marks amazing earrings that she so generously donated! It's so awesome that so many people donate their beautiful things to this pledge drive. This whole organization is top notch in every way. The information is invaluable but it's nice to feel the community as well.
I am happy I won the $100 Amazon gift card. I usually select jewelry for my wife, but I intend to give her the gift card. Otherwise, I would just get more tools with it.
