Richard, You are an artist, that is clear in your works, passion and explanations. In fact, what I see of your work, it's beautiful! If my comments came across about photographers as less than positive, I am sorry. My comment was really addressing those that decide what is art and what is not art, primarily in the painting field, based on whether a painting is done from real life or a picture.
In the last year I have met many excellent photographers at shows. I have also met those that do nothing except sign a picture that comes finished from a print house. Then there are those that don't even have to sign them because the signature is photographed on the picture at the print house, allowing direct mailing to the customer.
For me, I'm looking at new ways to solve my excellent sales dilemma, and when doing so I seem to uncover shortcuts done by others. I need to remember to not lump people together, because true artisans do exist.
