  It's this coming weekend (June 25, 26, 27)...haven't done it yet. Still preparing, but I think I'm ok. Just sold a painting through facebook, so I think I will need to try to get one more done before Friday. I will let you know after this weekend. Thanks for your words of encouragement!

  That's great...thanks! I appreciate the advice on pricing....that has been a concern for me. It's hard to put a price on art. Many people don't realize that art is not produced in assembly line format. It takes time, concentration, patience, creativity (which, as you know, can come and go without warning) and not to mention cost of paints, canvas, tools, etc... I am a bit curious about the other artists...it's interesting to hear your comments. I was a hairdresser for 16 years and am a freelance make-up artist. I've had many experiences with other hairdressers and need to prove themselves. Competition runs high in creative fields and egos are at an all time high..LOLl!
  
  Your work is highly detailed and I have no doubt takes you a lot of time. It's clear that you put a lot of emotion in your art. The detail is so impressive to me. You have great talent!
  
  My first show is a week from Friday. I am nervous and excited. It should be a good learning experience for me. The first show is the smaller one, so I am happy that I can work some of the kinks out before diving into the big show (Plymouth...July 9, 10, 11).

  I have about twenty paintings right now. Sizes ranging from 8" x 8" to 30" x 40". I don't think they all will be displayed at once...I plan to have some on reserve if I sell some (keeping my fingers crossed). I am also selling note cards. I have 200 packages of four....eight designs total.
  
  Have you done many art fairs? What are your experiences? Any tips or advice would be welcome.
