Best show ever and why

Broad Ripple Art Fair, 2012. Great show.

Worst show ever and why

54th and Monon 2008. 12 inches of rain and WAY too much lightning. Tried this show the next year, and my next door neighbor tried to sell cookies in front of my tent! After I asked her politely to move, she leaned on my tent, and almost upset an entire shelf of pottery. I'm not going back this year.

Ah, good news. Thank you, Nels. On one hand I'm glad, and on the other hand I was almost hoping for an excuse to buy one that's easier to put up that I could do by myself. I'm SO looking forward to 3rd St., and I really appreciate your comments about the various sections. Basically I hoped to get into 3rd St. because basically I'm a weenie about schlepping pottery, and the thought of parking behind my booth sounds wonderful!

Do you go to Madison Chautauqua? I'm trying to judge the amount of inventory I need for 3rd St. and wondered if there was a comparison between the 2 shows. I did Chautauqua last year though, and they said it was the worst in 22 years crowd-wise. Maybe I can compare it to Penrod? I'll be new to both of the shows this year, but I have a lot of friends who have done Penrod, and I've been there as a shopper at least.

I have SO much work to do...
