After last weekends mishap of leaving some important things in storage ( tent sides and display stands) I find myself curious as to what others have left at home. My second show a few years ago I left most of my earrings. What have you forgotten or misplaced that you need for your show?

I left an aluminum attaché with sterling silver buckles and buckle sets home. Important add on sales for my belts. I drove home around midnight the night before the show to get it. One buckle sale more than pays for the gas. I print out a loading list but sometimes I check something off as I am going to get it rather than when it is on the truck. I also use a "map" of how things are loaded so I don' t forget over the winter. My Suburban is loaded to the roof but I am always looking for room for one more tub of inventory.

The last show of 2012 I forgot the credit card machine, I made up a sign and put it in front of the cash register,
Sorry, My husband forgot the credit card machine,
then my husband went with a marker crossed off his name and inserted mine.
It was good for a laugh while people pulled out their check books.
One time I was doing a small local show. My car was in the shop so I actually took a cab, it was a table provided, small church kind of show. A day before I had been taking pictures of earrings, only one earring in each shot. Well in my haste to pack I left half of the earrings home. Thats right, I had one of each earring. Another artist actually loaned me her car to go home and get them. I filled her gas tank and was very grateful.
I seemed to have left something behind from almost every show this year. One was my track lighting for a show in PA (I am in Michigan). I still had time to have them overnight them, but the us postal service screwed up and the lights arrived during the second day of the show. It was my third time I had to buy lights at Home Depot. I carry an extra set of lights in my trailer at all times now. I can't remember the other things I forgot...how bad is that?
Yes...we drove 3 hours only to realize we left our tent roof in the garage...we had to turn around and go home to get it. We also left a flasher on the sidewalk as we packed jup and left it behind....

Hah! I hear you on that one ! I've lost my shorts at several shows this summer :-(
