July 18-22 is the Ann Arbor bonanza event. Will you be there? The weather promises to be better than last year. As I walked through the St. Joe, MI, show last weekend I asked some of the regulars at that show if they would be there and instead of the usual solid "yes" got a variety of answers, including several "no's". Is a seismic change under way?
I'll be there on Thursday, how about you? Let me know I'd be pleased to meet you, so far I've heard from David Frank, John Powell and Mary Johnston and I'll be looking for them.
Where will you be? I hear College Hill, Iowa, is getting some new faces. Let us know so we can meet up.

What a great country and great lifestyle!
EEEKKK!!! Thinking of everyone at Ann Arbor today! Was going to venture up there, but after the 3 hour drive it would take me, I decided to wait until tomorrow and see if the weather gets better! Hope you are are killing it anyway...
Two hour drive for me, Elissa. I went yesterday, the weather was pretty nice and there was a nice flow of people. Today will be perfect art fair weather. Hope it is also perfect art fair sales for all.
I've never considered doing any of the Ann Arbor shows, I don't have the stamina for them. I'll be doing Griffith IN Art in the Park, a low key easy show that I've done for years, the weekend before I go to Cape Cod to do several shows, visit family and cool off, I hope!
Sequim Lavender Festival - and for those of you wondering, it's in WA state, on the northern side of the Olympic Peninsula, looking across the Straight of Juan De Fuca to Vancouver Island in BC Canada! First time at this show, after 4 years of being rejected, hoping for a great show.
BTW, laptop crashed Sunday night, it's taken me this long to recover and be fully functional again. There are times I hate technology even though my "day job" is with a technology company.
That sounds like a lovely place for an art fair, Ruth. Hope the 4 year wait is worth it.
Oh yes, the technology problem -- I spent two hours today just trying to add a new tab to the top of this site and it still isn't working. My most hated way to spend time!
You too, Dick! How great to be able to make money and visit with your family. Another one of the perks of the art fair business. Hope your show in Winter Park lives up to your expectations.
Since I have yet to drink Midwest Kool-aid I am humbly slogging it out in Loveladies, NJ, the northern tip of NJ's Long Beach Island. :-) It's a wealthy seaside community with some great nearby bird photography venues...and the forecast is calling for moderate humidity and temps only in the mid-80s. Which may put more folks on the beach than the show, but no one who remembers last year's 104-degree, 75% humidity Saturday would ever want to go through THAT again. Nonetheless, I'm bringing a portable A/C unit and a 100 foot extension cord, just in case.
