What are you doing this Weekend - Dec. 6-8, 2013?

While Geri Wegner (whose birthday it is today) is off celebrating it in Las Vegas someone has to be in Chicago to shop. Right?

Lucky me -- it will be me! Leaving soon and will attend the amazing One of a Kind Show at the Merchandise Mart (600 exhibitors), the Renegade Craft Show (150 artists) in Pulaski Park, maybe even the Lamb's Farm Christmas Gift and Craft Show (300-400 craftspeople) in Arlington Heights and hopefully the Christkindlmarket in Daley Plaza in The Loop. 

Will I see you there? I know many of our members will showing their work in Chicago this weekend and I'd love to meet you. Please let me know.

What about the rest of you? What are you doing this weekend?

    Hi Connie--I'm doing OOAK again, where we met before. Pretty good day today, hoping for a great weekend! I'm in the same booth, 2014..hope you can come by and say hello. what day will you be there?

    I finished the three trick saddles I was working on between summer shows. Tomorrow I box and ship them along with a fourth restoration saddle. Appointment with client Saturday morning for computer case. Then I can start on other orders and building inventory for next summer. I will probably have to split or cut more firewood Sunday afternoon as it will be below freezing most of next week. Need to balance work for shows with work for cash flow. Two or three more trick saddles to be started in January.

    I am in the Chimneyville Art Show in Jackson, Ms. Part of the Craftsman's Guild. This is an inside show.

      This is my last show of 2013. I will sit in hibernation until about May 2014...
