Me, I'm finishing up running a booth at the 4H Fair in my little town. Geez 8 days in a booth at the county fair, luckily I'm not working all the shifts. The spaces are $130. Could a person bring something to an event like this that was nearby and make any money? No one here trying, so think maybe not.
Has anyone tried any of these regional fairs?
What's are you doing? Charlevoix? Morning Glory in Milwaukee? What else? You Southwest guys must have something going on.
I noticed that a bunch of folks were at Uptown and in Nels' post about his trek and adventures there they commented that they wish they had known, they would have met one another. I hope you use this discussion to do some connecting.
But, we all have other lives also. So, what's happening with you?

Heading down to Chattanooga for the Sunday Market. It's only a 90 minutes drive and it's a short 5 hour (11a - 4p) market. I usually go down on the weekends that I don't have a two day fair.
I'm also prepping for next weekend's Piedmont Park Art Festival in Atlanta. I made my costs back last year and it was cold and rainy (record low high for the weekend) so I thought I'd give it another try this year and hope for better weather!
Studio time! And boy, do I need to get in there and make some stuff.
Thanks for the Crested Butte review, Camryn. I hope to have it on ArtShowReviews.com soon.
Thanks for stopping by here before you go off to make the stuff.
Weekend off!! Still hanging out near Coeur d'Alene Lake in north ID so this weekend we're bicycling part of the Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes. So looking forward to a quiet weekend and time to catch up on a few things, we've had 3 shows in the last 4 weekends with our one weekend off being a travel weekend.
Sounds like a lovely place, Ruth. Are you in a campground for a week or so with no travel?
August 8 is our 48th wedding anniversary. Jean and I had planned to go to the Denver Botanic Gardens for the Chihuly glass exhibit, BUT our daughter from the other side of the mountains has an interview with Department of Corrections in Colorado Springs and we will be watching three grand kids. Its a big move up for her. I'm finishing up another white quilted trick saddle this weekend. This one goes to Canada. Once that is done, it will be work on special orders from past shows and start getting ready for Golden, CO next weekend.

Beautiful work.
So, would that bring her back to your side of the mountains?
Correction: 46th. After awhile you kind of loose count.
