Now that I've used my trailer for the1st time fully loaded I feel the need to make some extra room (I guess all 5x8s are not the same size).
I'm wondering about how others transport they canvas wraps.
I purchased my trailer a couple weeks ago. With the u Hauls I used two big Uline boxes with each wrap wrapped in bubble wrap. They just sort of leaned on each other. 19 art fairs and never any damage.
Something like this - Polls on the left side - 2 boxes of canvas in the middle and the framed stuff on the right side. all the extra on the end. Flooring will not be hung on the sides (I LOVE that stuff for pavement).
However, two Uline boxes take up a little real estate in a trailer so I was thinking of making some sort of box.
Should I have each canvas piece have it's own vertical slot (they might bounce back and forth?) Should I make them all lean as before? Make the box out of ????? Wheels on the bottom for easy transport to the site?
How do other people do it. Plus any other trailer suggestions would be sweet. I have all winter for trailer projects :-)

I used to pull a small trailer, now I pack it all in a Focus wagon. I'm a big fan of securing everything with assorted tie-downs and bungees. I put hooks in strategic places in the trailer and tied everything so that nothing could move. Now in the Focus I have bungees attached wherever I can and make sure that the whole load is immoveable. No rattles and bounces allowed! All you have to do is get involved in one fenderbender while travelling to a fair to realize how important it is to have your whole cargo fastened down tight.
