While investigating an interior panel setup for art fairs, I noticed on the local Craigslist a lot of listings for used trade show booths and associated gear, at rock-bottm prices. Having done trade shows, this idea seemed like a natural fit, and most of these (there are many brands) are carefully engineered for light weight, quick setup and efficient transport. I found a guy selling a mess of gear for $400 - I ended up with 2 separate Skyline Mirage 10 foot booth displays (curved slightly) that erect in about a 5 minutes with an expandible lattice framework and black fabric (velcro-receptive, too) full-height panels, including twin overhead lights and the kit that makes the two storage cases (for each booth) into a podium/table. AND, I got a bunch (18) of 46-inch high by 2 foot wide grey fabric-covered panels (they use light aluminum frames) that connect together with flexible hinges -they can stand alone or stack vertically to near 8-foot height. It's simple to hang pictures on velcro-backed hooks that cling to the fabric. I am working out the configuration, but I plan to use some version of this setup in about a month at a local show that provides booths. Sorry, I didn't take any pictures yet, but I'll try to post some eventually.

Great idea! I'd love to see some pictures when you have them. I have not seen many trade show displays, so some of this is a little hard to visualize.

I have seen some of these walls listed to and am very interested in them. Do you think I could display art quilts on that type of wall? Do things hang straight? I have seen lots of these too and I love the simple way they set up--they are a deal too--even new the prices are great!! Kelly
