Just completed my first-ever Festival
A pretty big show - park City, UT - over 225 booths!
I am thinking I would like to try something smaller for my next attempt
- Maybe in the 80 - 120 booth size
- Would like it to be someplace in the Southwest or West that I can reach with a drive of no more than 10 hours from Salt Lake City
- Would prefer an established show that has been around awhile with reliable patron turn-out
- I think a Park setting on grass would be nicer than the sidewalk setup of Park City
- If it makes a difference, I will be displaying Landscape Photography Prints.
Thanks,
Bob

Dick, what was the title of your articles that you posted on this site? We need to highlight those for everyone who is in Bob's position.
Richard,
Thanks for the response, however I am confused about the "Art fair Reviews"
Are you referring to this section of this website: http://www.artshowreviews.com/colorado-art-shows/
I pasted the link to Colorado and besides lots of really annoying ads, every show mentions that the reviews are in the "Comments Below" and when I scroll down and down and down - I find no comments and thus no reviews at all :-(
Am I missing something or looking in the wrong place?
Bob
Bob Ross ... I feel your pain! I couldn't see the comments either at first.
Look on the page, and scroll past "Reviews of this show are in the comments below" and look for this line "Please support our free service by clicking to "Like" this page on Facebook?"
RIGHT BELOW THAT ... it says "art fair reviews" "permalink" and then "comments." THAT tiny box for comments may have a number in it, and the number is how many comments on a particular show.
You can also find some of the discussions started by Richard Sherer at this link: http://www.artfairinsiders.com/forum/topic/listForContributor?user=...

hope that helps.

Bob,
if you sign up on zapplication you can view shows by date, by location, by a lot of factors. If you find some that work for your schedule and the distance you want to travel, bring the show names back here and experienced folks should be able to tell you what they like and didn't like about each one.
Congrats on Park City for your first show! I bet you learned a lot -- my first show was an eye-opener!
