Thanks Josh. I am biased since I am the owner of Frame Destination but multi-opening mats are no problem for us. Also, if you look to the right side of the forum page you can see our artfairinsider banner which includes a 10% off coupon good thru the end of this month.
Although single opening mats can be ordered on the website directly, multi-opening are a little different. Just order an uncut mat with the external size of the mat you need and then email or fax the specs on the opening sizes and borders. We add 12% to the cost of the uncut mat + $3.5 setup charge. The setup charge is for each special size, not each mat and if you plan to reorder let us know and we can store the setup so you dont have to pay that on future orders. We have double digit discounts starting at just qty 4 mats. Some companies will charge you for the next standard size mat when ordering custom and that can cause a the price of a pano mat to be much higher than ours since we dont do that. For example some places will charge for 30x40 mat when you order an 8x32 pano. We also have special clearance mats we sell at close to our cost.
I buy mine from ebay and have had really good quality from all the framers that sell there. I also have a couple local framers that give me great prices (MD). You could stop into a few near you and tell them your looking for competitive prices, most will totally work with you.
Thanks, Larry, for moderating here :) LOL -- I'll move this now!

If by pre cut, do you mean die cut?
For the past ten years, I've had Dixie Matting cut all my mats, even mats with multiple openings. All their mats are hand cut. http://dixiematting.com
I suggest calling rather than e-mail as they're not the most technology competent.
This should have been posted in the vendors and suppliers forum.
I also have used bux1matting via eBay, and was satisfied with his mats. Lately I've been using GoldenStateArt-The Mat Guy, also via eBay. The main reason for switching was the prices on double mats, but I haven't compared the prices recently. I do suspect that the mats I get from GoldenStateArt come from China, but I haven't verified that. They claim to be acid free, but I don't know any easy way to verify that. Right now the price for 8 x 10 mats with a 5 x 7 opening is less than $1 each at Golden State Art on eBay.
I've been using a great guy in New Hampshire for years.
I first noticed his Ebay site: bux1matting.
Since I spend about 3,000 per quarter on mats, I now just email him with my order.
Quality is high, prices are great, turnaround always speedy.
Guy's name is Randy.... If you connect with him, please mention Linda from Wisconsin says "hi".
