Found this advertised on sunshine artist. Applied and was accepted. To be fair, they do not advertise it as a fine art show, but rather "a street festival or market". They do accept commercial vendors as well as artisans and report 200,000 attend. Just curious if anyone has attended? Long way for us to travel. We do jewelry anywhere from $18 to $2000. But have a large collection we can do at an event such as this in the $22 to $65 range.

  • I have done two shows in Wilmington before and did well in one and the other almost nothing. I have since moved out of state. The attendance at one was very low, I didn't know to do the kind of research I do now. The one I did well at was a one day thing that they used to call the antique walk.  The money is there, and NC has always been great for people wanting to buy unique items.

  • Hello Wendy.  You might try and repost your question in another forum, such as Art fair discussions.  You may get some responses there.

If you are close to the area and have  some jewelry that you feel will fit the show you might want to give it a try.  Jewelry is usually a good seller at most shows and they may have enough good foot traffic that will make it work for you.  Take a look at their website and see if you it appeals to you.  They have a lot of information on their website.
