New Mix Media Artist

Hello,

I am Joyce Leathers.  I live in the Midwest.  Kansas City to be exact.  I currently do mixed media canvas and journals.  I also a lamp-work artist who makes her own glass beads and design my own jewelry.  Art is my true love :) .  You name it I have tried it!

    I've been a portrait artist for a very long time, and my daughter and I just launched a little shop on ArtFire.com.
    Do you travel for shows or just do local ones?

    Hello Joyce and welcome to our group. Sounds like you have a lot of interests. It can be hard to limit ourselves to one art form when we love to work with our hands. I will have to take a look at your work sometime and see what it is you like to do. How do you make glass beads anyway?

    Welcome Joyce...I see you aren't TOO far from my woods! I'm glad to see another artist who enjoys 'mixing it up'. We might cross paths in your area since I do get there a few times a year and do shows in the outlying areas of KC, too.

    Welcome Joyce. It is nice to have you here. I live in Pittburgh, Pa and create jewelry. This has been a great site for me in finding my way around shows. Lots of questions are answered here. Post photos of your work if you haven't done so already. Looking forward to you posts.
