    Hi everyone! I am alittle slow at the computer thing! LOL I am 55 live in Overland Park Kansas and have driven a school bus for 22yrs. I do it cause I enjoy working with the kids. I also enjoy having alot of time off to do art. And explore all types of art. I am enjoying mixed media right now and have been stocking up my supplies for my studio and researching all the techniques used in this medium. Oh how I am loving this! I am currently working on two old hard back book journals. I make jewelry also and have been self taught. I am learning lampworking and love it too! I had rotater cuff shoulder surgery this year so it has been a slow attempt on lampworking and being on the torch. I am feeling better now and plan to start firing the torch up again soon! I have dabbled in some type of craft for 20 plus years. I was in the country sampler store here few years back. My work was in very primitive country furniture and accessories. They closed and I took a hiatus of sorts from crafting until this past year. Well..I am so excited to be back doing what I LOVE ART!! Kelly Rae Roberts book was my inspiration. Thanks for the warm welcome and I will try to get some photos on line soon. With daughters help! LOL Sincerely, Joyce Leathers
