Good morning artists. I thought I would share something that happened to me over this past weekend. I did the Howard Alan Legacy Village show in Beachwood, Ohio. The first time I did a Howard Alan show. Interesting, in and of itself. For the first time, I had a theft. I have been doing art fairs since 2012. I don't know exactly when it happened, but I think it must have been Saturday overnight. At least 14 but perhaps more $100 matted photographs were stolen from my booth. It seemed to be a targeted operation, due to the pieces that they stole. I don't know what they would do with them. Keep them for themselves? Sell them on ebay? Try to reproduce them themselves? any of these are possible. Any help/suggestions/comments welcome.

  • I have these alarm mats. A good deterrent for chasing a intruder...

    • Just bought four of them, Greg. thank you very much. I am filing a police report today, Richard. thanks Cindy for the compassion.

  • Be sure to file the police report so you have proof of theft to file with your tax return. Every little bit helps keep art as a business.
  • Sorry to hear about the theft.  No one likes it to happen, no matter what the thief plans on doing with the goods.
