Yes this was the Key West Craft SHow. The next one is the Old Island Days Art Festival. This is fine art. However, we participate in both as this is our back yard as well as our target market.

Thanks for summing up the weekend Stephanie! I had nice reports from many of the craft artists that sales were strong. Stephanie and Ronnie's work qualifies for both shows as does some other categories such as wall glass work, pottery/ceramic that is non-functional, (hangs on wall) etc.
The Craft Show juries traditional, skilled and contemporary/fine craft. The Old Island Days Art Festival juries 2D paintings in categories like oil/acrylic, watercolor, mixed media, as well as sculpture and photography. The last two years, we have had a selected group of booths we call the Director's Invitational and those include some fine craft categories. So generally the Feb. Art Show will be a majority of 2D work.
I thought the Craft Show was great looking, crafts were creative and high quality. I was pleased and love my artists! We couldn't do this without you! My only peeve is that since I run the show, I can no longer jury and sell here! :-) Thanks to all!
Jacki-my husband and I were there. The weather was absolutely beautiful-70s and sunny. Crowds were as good as the weather. Saturday the street was packed most of the day. We could not even leave our booth for a break. Sunday not as much traffic. We had records sales for Saturday. After asking around it seemed most vendors were pleased. Sunday had wine festival events in the afternoon so that may have been a reason for slower traffic. We thought set up and down was smooth and well coordinated, as usual. We will also be here for Old Island Days at the end of Feb. We can't wait! Hopefully the weather will be just as good. We are also hoping to get the same spot(# 24 please Lois).
