Hello ,
I am a photographer from New Orleans and I applied for shows in CO to escape the heat of the south. I have been accepted to two shows on the same dates.
Salad Riverside Festival and Summeriest Evergreen fest.
Does anybody know anything about these shows?

As Camryn says, the Salida shows have been reviewed on this site. I have not done them and it has been about 9 years since I did a show in Evergreen. I can give you demographic information which might be helpful. Salida is a small town sort of "on the way to mountain destinations". There are summer homes along the Arkansas River to Canon City (Territorial and current prison town) but they are very middle class an not high-end homes. We did a July show in Evergreen for at least 3 or 4 consecutive years. Evergreen is an upper middle class to high-end mountain suburb of Denver. We had good sales there and I even sold a pleasure saddle (about $1.5K). There is more money there than in Salida. There is not much in the way of motels in Evergreen. There is a hotel at the I-70 and Evergreen Pkwy. exit. We always stayed in Lakewood (west Denver) where housing was more plentiful and less expensive. Down side was 30 minute drive up Bear Creek Canyon on Hwy 74. It's a narrow paved mountain road and you have to watch out for cyclists on blind curves, especially on weekends. Also the little berg of Morrison is a notorious speed trap. The other option from Lakewood is to go north to I-70 to Evergreen Pkwy. Good luck.
Hi, May. I bet you mean "Salida" Riverside Arts Festival in Salida Colorado. I'm not sure which Evergreen show you mean - is that the exact name?
There are two Salida shows with similar names (Salida Riverside and Salida Arts Festival.) Some good information in this thread, but note which show is which when reading. http://www.artfairinsiders.com/profiles/blogs/salida-arts-festival-...
