My apologies for being vague, and thank you for your comments.
I am a jeweler in silver, bronze and copper. I am very new to shows, and am trying to keep somewhat close to home (south of Columbus) to minimize travel costs.

I'm always surprised when artists ask about shows and don't mention what kind of work they do. Without that information, what anyone will tell you might or might not be relevant. I tried the Cincinnati and Columbus Winterfair combination a few times. Actually Cincinnati once and Columbus twice and would never go back because it more for Christmas gifts than for selling fine art. I did Summerfair a half dozen times over the years and found it more fine art oriented.
Watch for the dates of the Columbus show because sometimes they overlap and run the same weekend. At those times, it's a little easier to get into Cincinnati because most artists would prefer to do Columbus. The other alternative that weekend is Three Rivers in Pittsburgh. if the first weekend falls on the same weekend as Cincinnati.
If you're just getting into shows, specifically higher end shows, there are a lot to choose from each weekend in June and July. But it also depends on where you live and how far you want to travel. I don't do shows anymore, but as a photographer, I used to keep my truck packed and tried for the best show each weekend.
