Good Omen?

I just saw a drug add on CNN were retired baby boomer couple(?) was strolling through an outdoor art show with their dog. That's a good sign. It didn't show them buying anything. That's a bad sign. It's still snowing, 20's and I don't want to blow snow, but have to get to the wood lot.

  • Yeah, would have been nice to see a bag, but then again it was an ad on CNN. I stopped watching CNN yrs. ago because nothing they say is true~LOL!  I think we could all write a book about dogs at Art Fairs! I personally think it's fine to have them, but not every doggies' mom & dad know how to discipline them!

  • Could be worse...had our first sub zero day here in Packer land...minus four when I left for work.....brrr. But people don't mind since our football team won to play yet one more time :)
  • Maybe if they were buying more art, they wouldn't need to take so many drugs...just sayin'.

    • Or...if they were not spending their money on drugs they could afford more art..

  • We've all seen too many instances where people were out walking their dog at an art show and not buying anything. For them it is a social event and just another place to walk the dog. I guess it makes the show look a bit more crowded...but I want my wallet to be crowded..

About the drug ads you mentioned on CNN...These days the drug companies target their drug commercials at the individuals (never heard so many weird and funny names they call them) and tell you about a couple of dozen or more ways it can really screw you up or kill you...and then say "ask your doctor if this is right for you"... are they talking about the horrible after effects of the death?

It used to be that the drug reps promoted the drugs just to the doctors offices...but now...

    • Yup, all those side effects can kill ya.
