I am in search of anyone who does encaustic painting. I would like referrals to which brands of materials are good, places on line for ordering, and youtube videos. Thanks so much!

A good source of beeswax is EBay. Beekeepers sell 1 lb blocks. I use it for hand sewing.

Thanks Richard. I do have a friend, a childhood friend who I still have contact with, who is a local beekeeper. If I decide to make my own I will probably give him a try first for beeswax. If that doesn't work out then I'll branch out.
