Hi! I have upgraded my booth, and I purchased the 4-foot tables that fold in the middle (from Sam's) that were discussed in another thread. I like that they will telescope to 36" tall.
Does anyone know of a good source for fitted table covers? Collector's House can have this size custom made for $135 each. I was looking for a cheaper solution. I only find fitted covers for 6' and 8' tables that are 30" high when I do internet searches.
What does everyone do for table covers that match and look classy?
Thanks,
Pat

I needed 145" by 29 1/2" piece of fabric, and I did piece pieces together to get the length. One king sheet set was $38 and completed all four table clothes.
I am now covering bungy cords with muslin, I hate looking at my different colored bungies, I use bundgies to anchor my grid walls, just sewing fabric around so the color can not be seen. I know it is crazy but it will make me feel better about my booth appearence.

After the first one, went pretty good, now off to WalMart for more ploy fabric, hopeully they have some bargain fabric at 2 bucks!@
Hope this helps you, and good luck!
Chris - When you made your fitted table skirts from the polyester, did you cut 4 pieces of material & then sew them together at the corners (& at the opening in the back, of course)?
Thanks,
Pat
I wish I could sew and it's looking more and more like I'm going to have to learn soon. I know now what I want my booth to look like and how I want my tables set up etc........they're just not going to have tablecovers.......lol.
I do have two friends that are going to try to help me ...... one has suggestions and the other sews.....keep your toes and fingers crossed for me because right now I just cannot afford the prices for four table skirts or fitted tablecovers :-(

This all sounds pretty expensive! I hate to sew, but when I bought all of my tables, I also purchased some really inexpensive polyester fabric from Walmart and made my own fitted covers. They are smooth rather than pleated and have slits in the back so I can stash thing easily. The polyester won't wrinkle, and it just goes right into my plastic bins when I'm done, adding extra padding for my pottery. They are washable, and don't need ironing. So I ended up with 4 (now I only use 3) skirts for basically pennies. I put tablecloths over the tops for more color in the booth. If you really DON'T sew, maybe you can find a friend or relative to help. It was just a lot of measuring and straight seams, so someone who is an artist ought to be able to do it... ;-) Good luck finding what you want.

They make tents and other festival supplies so you know the covers are sturdy and made to stand up to art fairs.

I found my e-mail from Jeffrey Ebert at Collector House. I was wrong about the price at Collector House; I was remembering the price for 2 fitted tablecovers. He quoted (before Christmas) $65 for a fitted tablecovering for a 4-foot by 36" high table + UPS shipping. He also sent me a swab of material so I could see if it would match what I already have for my booth. I think the average size height tablecovering is $49.
I also went to premiertablelinens.com. They have a calculator built into their website. Table skirting with shirred pleats for a 4-foot x 36"H table is $78. The same thing with boxed pleats is $111.00 each.
That's my research so far.
