Canadian Art & Craft Shows?

I've recently been speaking with show directors in Toronto and Vancouver about advertising their events to U.S. exhibitors. Both of them assure me that artists from the U.S. can participate in their shows.

Does anyone here do shows in Canada? Can you share experiences taking your goods across the border?

    Well, we're talking about an April show in Vancouver (not too hot in Missouri that time of year) and early July in Toronto which sounds amazing. Of course passports are in order -- but I love Canada myself, as I live near Ontario. Just looking for border crossing experiences from artists.

    You have to have a passport nowadays to cross into Canada and get back. I always found Canadians to be pretty laid back and easy going when I worked in Canada as a geologist. I'm interested in any shows in Calgary during the summer.

    I have never done a Canadian show, but would be open to it.  Bring em on, if customs issues aren't a concern and we can figure out the currency differences, it sounds like a great idea to me.  It would be nice to beat the scorching heat in the summer too!!!!!
