What are you Doing This Week? July 20-24

Okay kiddies, another big one coming up. Where will you be and what is your booth #? It is time for some get togethers. There are a bunch of shows in Chicago. Howard Alan has one in Aspen (doesn't that sound great?) and a whole lot of artists are heading toward Ann Arbor.

Wednesday and Thursday I'll be in Ann Arbor and would love to meet you. Then I'm heading to Port Huron to run the Blue Water Art Fair on Friday and Saturday and am looking forward to spending some time with some loyal AFI-ers: Lorie MacDonald, Sara Youngman, Diane Wright, Brett Miley, Walt Bennett. Who else?

W O W, everywhere the heat is going to be such a HUGE factor!! Everyone be smart and safe. I'm really glad I'm not in a show this weekend with the need to be personable, friendly or ANYTHING to ANYBODY ( I know...selfish of me...) this weekend. My heart and thoughts will be with all you brave and talented souls this weekend.

We will be home...still looking into how to join you all in the near future-- seems daunting: the applications, booth shots.... but we read about all the fairs and wish we were there with you all!

I'll be at Old Orchard for the start (late start) of my second summer of shows...AA sounds like it will be a great time, though - perhaps next year...

Headed to Door County to participate in the Dockside Quick Paint Plein Air competition hosted by the Peninsula School of Art in Fish Creek. PLUS hang out in my favorite old haunts to paint so I can replenish my paintings!

I'm taking a break from shows to finish up custom orders and prepare for the next round mid August - Sept.

Everybody is going to AA except me ;) I'll be doing Old Orchard, Skokie IL. Can't wait to hear about AA! Good luck everybody!
