  • I agree with Shoshana's suggestion, if the date works out. I was at their Virginia Beach show and wrote a report for ArtFairInsiders at http://www.artfairinsiders.com/profiles/blogs/art-awards-show-virgi....

For North Carolina, a little later in the June, check out Art Under The Oaks, in Corolla, NC. It's a mid-week show, aimed at the vacationers and time share folks.

    • I know some artists who tried shows by this group last year and they reported very low crowds and very low sales. It is a newbie so maybe they need time to get there feet wet.
  • Actually it's not even that simple. All the "good" shows are closed because June is only three months away. Hard to believe with the amount of snow we've had recently.

  • I see a number of members asking for "good" shows. But everybody has a different idea of what a good show is. I know people who are happy with making $1,000 and others who "won't get out of bed for a $1,000 show."

So before anybody will give up information, what is your idea of a "good show"?
