We started something new here to get to know our members a little bit better. On the questions new members fill out is a place to add a fun fact about themselves. I have discovered we have some very interesting members here. I will post a few of these fun facts. Feel free to post a fun fact about yourself.
Nolly Gelsinger - Nolly used to sit at her grandfather's work bench and watch while he made false teeth at a torch. Nolly says "It's so fun to be working at a torch myself, many years later." What a special family bond Nolly has.
I thought we had a real celebrity here for a moment when I saw Barbara Boxer's name here. Barbara Boxer says " My name is the same as a Senator from California and when people make comments to me about that I say I am the whistle blower on the east coast." I think Barbara should take advantage of her name and maybe see if she can get an invitation to the White House.
ILynette Hayes says that she is a twin. She has a twin brother. She says they also have twins in every generation for 4 generations back on both sides of my family. I also had a great uncle with 3 sets. ILynette could end up with more grandchildren than she ever imagined.
Brenda Flynn really likes her dog. She says, "if I could marry her dog, I would. He's good-looking, loyal, honest and he doesn't piss all over the bathroom floor." I think Brenda found herself a keeper.
Welcome Brenda, ILynette, Barbara and Nolly to AFI!
How about you? Leave a fun fact about you to share with us here.

Times are changing. Girls can do anything boys can. Plus, boys can do anything girls can. It works both ways nowadays.
Elle, I am so jealous that you know Judge Judy. My hubby and I have often said we wished we lived next door to her. She is so intelligent and quick thinking. I have also found myself "pulling a Judge Judy" at times. Actually, no one can do a "Judge Judy" like she can.
My husband had the opportunity to talk to her a few years back when she was purchasing a car, at the time he worked for Bentley.
I am a licensed Amateur Radio Operator (KB8FZU) and just recently earned my Amateur Extra class license (the highest class). So, there is a logical side of me too that goes with the creative part. But, I have had my ham radio license since 1988. This is only my second year doing art shows...
Ham radios are very interesting. It seems like you would meet some very interesting people with them.
