Couldn't the registration be taken care of within the booth fee? That's all we need, is for shows to create new ways to nickel and dime us to death with additional fees, even as jury and booth fees continue to rise.
Yes Connie, it seems in lieu of jury fee as booth fee is not discounted. Lori exactly. It's really nice to get invited, but I probably won't do the show as I don't agree with this.
the way I see it is if it's a show that I want to do I'd send in my app, images and jury fee and take my chances. But if I'm invited to participate I don't have to jump through those hoops so I don't have a problem paying for a processing fee. If you disagree with the show policies don't do the show
What do you mean, Shawn? Is this in lieu of a "jury fee" because you are reinvited? If so, doesn't sound right to me. Is it in lieu of a space fee? If so, very cool!
