I was on the wait list for a long long time. I checked Zapp this afternoon and the wait list changed to Invited! Yay! Trying to get into some larger shows this sophomore year. But this is one I really wanted to get into. After a lot of rejections (about a 70% not invited rate), this news came in very sweet! You can see my whole schedule here...

Yes Connie - the acceptance letters are now starting to roll in. I just was notified last evening that I was also accepted to the Hyde Park Square Art Show in Cincinnati on October 6. So May is looking a little brighter now. I guess I'll be in about 10 shows this year which is up from 7 last year...
Congrats, Scott. As this is just your second year I hope you'll get to these shows early and check out the other booths -- see what else is there and "compare, but don't despair" to help up your rate of acceptance for next year. I'm putting this one on my schedule to attend, so hopefully I'll meet you there. It is one of the loveliest settings for an art fair, the Toledo Botanical Gardens, and I'd go there even if there wasn't an art fair.
