I did Woodstock for about 3 years and haven't done it the last 2. I gave it a good enough try. I made less money there than at any other show I've ever done. People come to look, but very few reach for their wallets. I found it to be a waste of a whole weekend, and barely made back the fee.
I live in Broward County and it is very populated, there is alot of people here. Davie is a small town and yes, that town comes out for the parade. I think I even rode my pony in it back in the day. Anyone can come that day and ride in the parade, that is what makes it fun! Woodstock show has been around for many years and its a great craft show with ALOT of buy sell. If you have fine art, don't do it. This is the type of show where there are bottle cap stuff, painted glasses, stuff on a stick in other words stuff that sell for about $5 to around $30 range. There are about 400 - 500 booths and is fun to walk around, very entertaining.

I had weights and stakes and was tied to a tree, but in very heavy winds my tent still was picked up and moved, destroying my glass display shortly before the judging. There is some buy/sell that manages to get in! : (
This is a very different show with a Santa parade complete with a band. It is a fun event. If you find you like this kind of event try the Orange Blossom in Davie. There you will find half of the population of Broward County in the parade and on the stage, along with the ladies club serving home made strawberry shortcake! (MMMM!)
