Sorry to hear that....If Photoshop is not acceptable, then why allow it in the shows? I create Digital Photography and Digital Art...and yes I use Photoshop. I sell my work because it is creative and many like it. If the Show and the Judges don't have any appreciation for it, save the booth fee and sell at Galleries and Shows that have Digital as a category. I'm not impressed when the same group of friends win every year for successfully not using Photoshop, thankfully I can rely on sales.
Hey, what the heck, judges are human! I just finished a book about social intelligence, empathy, is the key! I think Cynthia has got it down just right, assuming a nearby person would lend a hand.
