I made a time lapse video of setting up for a show. Turned out OK for my 1st little movie. It's embedded at the bottom of my tips page.
Enjoy!

Hi I really like the booth look. Where did you get the RV carpet? I read that some people use outdoor carpet from like Home Depot or Lowes. It "looks" similar online, but I don't really know the intricacies of it all. Thank you.
Janice, I think there is a section on this site all about show stuff like tents. I use an EZ-up, only because I can't afford a better one.
I need to purchase a new 10 x 10 tent for the new season. Does anyone have any recommendations on what is the best type to buy and where to buy?
Pat, you don't need a tent for the Queeny Park show, but you do need 3 walls of some sort. I use pipe and drape while others use Pro Panels or grid walls or whatever works for them. You can't use your tent frame because the space is only 10x8 and won't accommodate a 10x10 tent.
My light weight shelves work fine at outdoor shows as long as they are inside the tent. Also, the tops are heavy wood panels and I use the middle shelves for storage which adds weight. My moving boxes are also stashed inside those tables.
Glad you enjoyed the video. If you need any help with your jury images, let me know.

Robin, From what I understand, Queeny Park is an indoor show. So no need for a tent. Right? I haven't done Queeny Park, I have done another show in the St. Louis area and customers told me about Queeny Park. Your quick and easy set-up looked great. How do your light weight shelves hold up outside in windy weather? I also enjoyed all your photography tips which should help improve jury images. Thanks for sharing!
Great job on your first video. Very nice and thanks for sharing it with us.

Definitely!!!
I was envying those expensive podium tables when I got the idea. Super cheap by comparison and looks just as good in my opinion.
Well the covers look fantastic Robin! I wished I would have known about them before I spent $800 on getting professional tablecloths made last year (mind you I think the woman severely overcharged me!)!
The shelves are such a good idea too.
Ah well - next time!
Thanks Annette & Megan.
I got the shelves from Walmart. They are plastic, light weight and very easy to assemble/disassemble. The "fabric" is actually RV carpeting that I cut to fit and it velcros to the fronts and sides tables. The RV carpeting is made from recycled plastic bottles, looks like professional display fabric, doesn't blow around in the wind and is indestructible. The tops of the tables are aspen wood panels from Lowes hardware.
