I know many of you will be traveling all over the place this summer to shows. I thought this piece of info may help some of you travelers.
The bridge crossing over to Louisville, KY is being worked on right now. Everyone had to funnel into two lanes to cross the bridge from Indiana into Kentucky. We crossed it on a Sunday and had a good half hour delay. I just thought some of you might like to know about this little piece of info.
I bet the delay will be much longer during the week and especially during rush hour. I will be crossing back over the bridge on Friday. I will let you know what it looks like during the week.
On Sunday, the crossing didn't look as congested if you were traveling in the direction from Louisville to Indiana.
I hope this helps.

Thanks Becky, I think we will try that route going back home. I did see the "expect delays" sign at Indy.
Just go around all that. If you are I-65 Southbound coming into Louisville, take the I-265W exit (maybe 6?), and go down couple miles to I-64 (W to St Louis) or East across the bridge that they were working on last year back to Lou/Lex/Cincinnati, and that also winds back around to 65S. If you are Northbound, you can do the reverse, get on 64W before you get to the bridge, then take it across and get on I-265E to get back on I-65N. If you're coming in 64W and need to get on 65N, it's not terribly different from the horror you would usually experience, but you can take 64W on out like I said earlier, and get to 65N via 265E. It’s definitely a big ol’ mess right now. They have expect delays as far north as Indy. The construction is scheduled to be over July 31, but they didn’t say what year…
Thanks for that Jackie. I remember doing the St James show last yr and they had just started work on it. Good to know it's still on-going.
