  snowbirds on the whole do not buy,we are their free entertainment no matter what you are selling.we are looking for shows that upper middle class women come to and buy that are not run by Howard Allen.
  how are the shows around Washington, D.C.has anyone participated in sugarloaf or Gilmore shows.do not do the show in December in mrytle beach.booths are unfairly priced and you get the walmart crowd that doesn't buy.the promoter isn't very nice or professional either

  stay away from Howard Allen shows.he is a con-artist and a liar.his craft shows in Florida are not worth the money.many 55+ who have intention to buy from you?you are a day of entertainment?they come to copy your ideas?after two classes in knitting,pottery!painting,etc.they all feel that they are experts?of your product is over $20 they most likely won't buy from you.

  Megan, Howard Alan has two groups of shows, ACE (Amaerican Craft Endevours) and Howard Alan Events. You will only find Art and Fine Craft at the Howard Alan branded shows. ACE is open to all sorts of craft as well as art.

  Hi Megan, where is this show?  Florida? Georgia? the Carolinas?  Sounds like, as Craft shows go, it's a pretty good one...

  Hi, I did it last year. It is our anniversary weekend so we thought of it as a trip for fun. I found that it has some art and alot of craft, well selected though. Set up was tricky on the narrow street. Load out was even harder, so my husband carried my things out and around the corner. As far as sales went I was not over-whelmed. The show covered our 3 nights in a nice place and some fancy dinners, fee and gas, so I went home with about $60 my expenses with everything included. I would not travel to do this show again. I had no big purchases in the $100 to $400 range. Most locals told me to come back in the winter when the seasonal people are there. The locals come to the show but don't buy much - you need the snowbirds. I had not realized that Stuart was seasonal like St.Augustine. HOpe this helps. BTW thank you for your honest opinion of the shows you have done.
