As a lot of you know I've arranged discount hotel rates for St. James for many years and I'm doing so again this year. Last year I booked a block of rooms at the red roof inn which were quite nice. Last year I booked a block of 20 rooms and all were booked and some people missed out on the deal because they went fast. They are willing to give me a discounted rate again this year of $64.99 + tax which is up $5 from last year but $25 off their regular rate. I'd like to get a rough idea of how many people are interested so please post if you're interested. I know it's early but if I don't book the block early I can't get the discount.
You're welcome, I know every little bit helps. In answer to your query I now reside in FL most of the year, I come up to La Porte for the month of August to do shows. This year all three shows I'm doing are in Michigan, Lake Odessa, Monroe, and Grand Haven maybe we'll meet at one of those
Just finished booking the block at Red Roof Inn 4704 Preston Hwy. I managed to get 25 rooms all doubles, 15 standard, 10 deluxe, the only difference is deluxe rooms have fridge and micro. The cost is $64.99 + tax per night and I've reserved the rooms for 9/28 check in through 10/2 check out. Booking phone # is 1-800-733-7663 and you'll need to ask for Lori Kays block. My block will be active until 8/28 after that rooms go to full price, but don't wait as I've already got 20 rooms confirmed across all the forums I post on. I'll be keeping a check on the reservations when it sells out I'll let you know.

Wow, what a great idea and savings. If everyone took one weekend to do this all year long the savings would really be passed on.
