  • strange days

  • Mainsail.....Hot.Hot and sales were not so hot. I was down from and last year and there were  a zero across from me. Then there was a mixed media painter with coy fish who just about sold out. He also was seen by us selling tee's but nothing was done. My pastel neighbor had a great weekend but it wasn't the norm for our row.

This was the first time I got a purchase but the story takes a strange twist. I was given the award but the patron for some reason never came back to buy anything. I was told the wife would return in  the afternoon to make a purchase but they never did. That purchase would have made a difference for me but we move on.

    On to Melbourne...then north

  • Southlake was windy on Friday and Sunday, but I felt that sales had returned to where they were about six years ago (along with more of an art buying crowd).
  • My friend was on the water, so she did enjoy a breeze, plus she lives without A/C, something I cannot do at this late date, I tried and finally broke down, I was tired of being sticky!
  • Roxie it was 90 degrees and humid at Mainsail--I don't call that great weather--this was told to me by a person who did the show.
  • I heard from a friend at Mainsail that her sales were down from previous years. Great weather, beautiful location amd low sales..

Inquiring minds do want to know...more info
