Most of you in the Midwest probably know this already. If you drive a motor home or tow a travel trailer to the shows and travel the Ohio Turnpike, you can stay at the rest stops for $20 for a nite. This is a dedicated rv area with electric hook up, they also have a dump station and water. The limit is 1 night. Just thought I would pass this along. Anyone else who has such info should share it with the rest of us too.
Flying J / Pilot get their RV card and save .02 per gallon. If over 50, get an AARP card and get 20% at Denny's located at the Flying J, getting ready to leave - ask to have your drink to go - no extra charge. Coffee $1.00 anytime. And, you can stay on the grounds of the Flying J free. If you wish to dump - if you have their card - $5. Download their app and you can plan your trip and all their stops will show up, and their current gas prices so you can plan your distance v how much. I have a ton more too...but when we take 80 E/W each state has it's version of what is available, and this is outside the "Ohio" part. And I wish Ohio would have the same on 75 as it does on 80, it sure would be nice.
