small art fair near St Charles, Mo

I love small art fairs... if they have some potential customers walking through. The day gets mighty long when no one stops by your booth. You run out of one liners to amuse your neighbor and you need the restroom. NOT work, but not fun either.Every once in awhile we get lucky...

  • Thanks Connie...I'm familiar with Don's name but have never done one of his venues. I am very much at home with 'small but fine'!
  • Don Crozier knows what he is doing. I'd expect this venue to remain small but fine.
  • I did a show there years ago and customers comment was, "Oh there is something here in St Charles every weekend" never a good thing. You got lucky
  • Thanks for this info. I'd like to put it on my busiest-weekend-in-Sept. list. I really like stand-bys and options. Plans are sometimes 'adjusted' by fate and circumstance!
  • The show was Don Crozier's Art fair at the Meadows outdoor mall in Lake St. Louis, Mo near to Ofallon. Good quality small show.
  • I feel the same about small fairs! Where was this show? I've done several in the area that were not the best mix for fine art and craft and one was the convention ctr. last year. Not the promoter's fault because she does a lot of advertising...but traffic was very small. My own customers from the area came and supported me well, but new in-depth visitors were few and far between. They didn't want to talk OR look! I'm going to Ozark this weekend...first time in over 15 years. Wonder how it will be? Will find out.
