I walked the show on Sunday and talked to a few friends there. Friday was great, Saturday a let down and Sunday dead...Easter Sunday seemed to kill all foot traffic. I think Saturday had threatening weather that never materialized. I used to do a lot of the "First Saturdays" on the River and what I saw at this show was about the same as the usual for those shows. In other words, it didn't really look "juried" like it's claim.
I have a small gallery here in Savannah now so I don't do any fairs at this time, but like most events in Savannah, it's all about whatever tourists happen to be in town that day. By the way, the best River street shows are the Sept and October ones. They're as packed as any art fair I've been to.
