Sad news

Our deepest sympathy is extended to our artist friend, Eugenie Torgerson, and her family upon the sudden loss of her son, Ryan, who died unexpectedly this week. Although, I was unable to locate an obituary, I did find this website with many wonderful tributes to this young man.

    My thanks to the many artists who, learning here about our loss, have written and called with words of comfort, strength, and hope. The collective heart has been beating in rhythm with mine, and I am grateful for all the love and support. Eugenie

    Thank you, Ginny, for posting this here. Eugenie has been an important person in the art fair business for quite awhile. Those of us who are her contemporaries can only imagine the devastating loss this is for her. I only know her as the artist in the nearby booth with the impressive body of work that is everchanging, from reading the obituary you linked to above it seems she was also an amazing mother. How little we know what life will bring.
