Hope your holidays were jolly and full of small moments to cherish. My best times are just being in the same room with my children and grandchildren. The little people are finally at the "game age" and we had a lot of fun playing "team Clue."
I enjoyed the Secret Santa exchange also. Some great gifts were exchanged. You could really tell these did not come from China ;) but were lovingly handmade by all of you.

Then I had to find a judge to choose the Grand Prize Winner and it had to be someone with impeccable credentials in the art fair community. Thank you to Rick Bryant, Executive Director of the Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts, who took on this daunting task.

I’m going with the license plate mug. Nice photo and object, not cloying and no mention ofone’s cats or “my wife made me”. Just a cool outsider-y mug. Nice work.
Honorable mention goes to you. I thought yours was good, but it would be bad form for you to win.
Pretty interesting that our "judge" judged not only on the object but the photography! Obviously knows what he is doing. Thanks, Rick.
The winner of the is Scott Pakulski of Ypsilanti, MI. Scott wins a gift certificate from the famous Zingerman's Bakery in Ann Arbor. Since you live near I thought I'd let you pick out your favorite goodies.

I don't know who was my Secret Santa and I'd guess Scott doesn't know either. Does anyone want to disclose their identity?
You guys were great and I enjoyed organizing this. Do you want to do it again next year?

Ruth, chocolate doesn't last very long in this house either. Both my husband and I are nuts about chocolate. I am glad you like the pillow cases. They were fun to make.
Jacki, I had NO idea it was you ! I had a couple of possibilities, but you weren't one of them - I have no idea why. I am sleeping on a morning glory pillow every night here in Fort Myers, Florida. Thanks again.
By the way, the chocolate was absolutely delicious. . . and long gone!
This all sounds like so much fun, I'm just sorry I didn't participate...maybe next year if everyone decides to do it again. Great gifts everyone!
Connie, I really liked the wind chimes. I sort of thought it might be you when I noticed it was mailed from Fremont. But that is ok because I really like it. Thanks so much.
Ruth got my gift. I stenciled the pillow cases. I taught my boys to stencil and this morning glory pattern has been my favorite.

Connie, How'd did you do it? I came home from my weekend show and Santa was put to bed. I can't trust them, they move all over the house.
I'm Scott's Secret Santa, and I made the mug. It's hand-built using an old license plate as the mould. It's not my "regular" media, but something I do for the galleries around here.
