I just got the 3 1/2* Sheraton for $43/night, starting July 7th. This is a very nice downtown hotel, but NOT walking distance to the show. Parking is free and abundant.
We got the Sheraton for $55/night. How is load in and out at this show. We hear it is a bear. What time can you start setting up? Any advance info you can offer would be a help. Thanks
I got that Sheridan on Priceline once. Classifying it as a downtown hotel is a joke. Thats when I learned to pay attention to Priceline maps. That one looked like it was drawn by a politician for redistricting. What is the term, gerrymandering?
I've almost always stayed at that Sheraton in Madison. It really is the closest - and the nicest to the show site for under $100/night; just blast up John Nolen drive, loop around the streets until you get to your area near the Square. The parking meters are free on Sat. and Sun. (well, maybe not any more, a year ago they were), so get there early and park as close to your booth as possible. I've had friends pay more at the "cheap" lodgings farther away, like the Red Roof Inn, etc.
Wow, what a great price. I am not always that lucky. I do hear of others getting great deals but usually not in July. Lucky you! For that price maybe you could find someone to share rides back and forth to the show together.
