Northwest Shows?

Anybody doing shows in the Pacific NW? Particularly along the I5 corridor? Vancouver, Portland, Tacoma,
Portland etc. What's hot 'n what's not? I did fairs years ago in the Midwest and am thinking of doing some out here.

  • Thanks for the comment. I'm getting organized for next year now. I have a sister in Portland so no lodging expenses and Seattle is just next door. These might be the ones to start with. Again, thanks. Jim Murphy
  • I live in the Pacific NW, Portland and used to do fine arts/crafts shows in this area but haven't in a few years, so my info is a bit old but I think still relevant. In my opinion, the shows in this area are few and far between but for the most part well-attended and usually quite profitable - or were for me. A few I did are: Corvallis Fall Festival, Bush Barn Show in Salem (don't know the exact name of that one), a festival in Coeur d'Alene, ID in August, (sorry, I don't remember its name). Others I did not do but I hear are very good: a summer show in Boise, ID, Art in the Pearl show in Portland, a really big show in Seattle of which I can't remember the name also. All these shows are big and easily found online. Generally, entry fees are quite low, but a percentage of sales is taken. Sales were in the 3K to 7K region for me at least. Almost all good shows are in the summertime or early fall. Hope this helps a bit.
