The Inverness Festival of the Arts is one of Central Florida’s premier juried fine art shows. Join us November 2nd & 3rd in picturesque downtown. IFOTA is renowned for its commitment to promoting artistic excellence and innovation drawing thousands of enthusiasts and collectors from all over the world.
We have a wonderful Artist dinner on Saturday evening. Rails to Trails Bicycle Trails goes right through our town. There is great fishing in our lakes and we are 20 minutes from Crystal River, home of manatees. Great place to kayak, scuba dive! Homosassa Springs is wonderful, too. Citrus County has wonderful natural settings to help evoke the artist in all of us!
IFOTA established in 1972, serves as a vibrant platform for artists to showcase their medium: paintings, sculptures, jewelry, clay, fiber, photography and many more. There is a generous prize pool of $10,000.
In addition to the displays, the festival also features live music and entertainment, student art, interactive exhibits for children and adults, all this while enjoying food and drink from the local restaurants. IFOTA, set in historic small town Inverness, creates a fun and engaging atmosphere for visitors and art enthusiasts of all ages to enjoy.
