Im looking to buy a good quality pop up tent as a backup for my lightdome for shows that have same day set ups or are one day shows. I know ez ups tent to leak but this company (vitabri) claims that thier v3 canopy, in addition to having good quality structure the top is made of 1000 denier fabric and is totally waterproof. its about $900 (not including walls) but I really am looking for a quality Ez-up type tent that doesnt leak and I can use sparingly. If anyone has heard or experienced this canopy please let me know. Thanks!

I did order and get the Vitabri awning from Instent. I spoke with Mathieu and he ordered one for me....so it is available now. I considered making some awning brackets like the ones John Kennington described but since I was able to get the Vitabri awning I decided to keep it all stock.
Thanks John...it is odd that they reverse the velcro for the different tops and they are not compatible. the vinyl top is only compatible with the vinyl sides and the poly only with the poly.
The told me that they can make a reverse velcro adapter that allows them to be interchangeable and mixed. A vinyl top is always important but on some of those warmer days the poly walls are cooler.
They are not compatible, but they made a special version of the roof for me with velcro installed opposite, so it would work with the poly walls. They also did that when I ordered the second canopy, since I would need to have it match. I had to wait a bit until they were doing a production run of making a batch of roofs, and they did one custom for me.

When you upgraded your Vitabri top to the Vinyl top did you have any problems putting up the polyester walls with the vinyl top?
I have heard that they were not compatible because the velcro on the vinyl is installed opposite from that of the polyester top.

David, Instent.com is the US distributor for the Vitabri products. They do not show it on their website, however I spoke with Mathieu and he said it is available and he could get it from the from their main office in France

David...I don't have experience with the Goliath but I have spoken to two people with them that said they liked the frame but the top was not waterproof and leaked.
Really useful thread. I'm new at this - i've heard the King Canopy Goliath is well made, but also read that it leaks. Does anyone have experience with it?
