  • We did this show once, quite a while ago. It is a beautiful drive into the Smoky Mountains at a perfect time of year. Be sure to enjoy this part of your trip, one of the pleasures of being in the art fair business, seeing different parts of our country at the best times.
  • wow you just made me even more excited- thanks so much - nice hearing good things about a show these days!
and yeah the drives going to be a killer- about 12 hours for me- but itll be worth it!
  • It's a very well run show, in a lovely town, with lovely people who love to support the arts. The preview party is among the best I've been too. Well worth the art donation, and the food is excellent. The show itself is easy logistically, and since Greenville only has a couple of art shows yearly, the folks love the art and the artists. And they buy art.

I wrote a review the year I did it -- here's the link. But I haven't been able to get back in since! My prediction came true.

The only downside to this show is the geographic distance from other shows at that time of year. Unless you are local, it will be a long drive to and from, which makes it a bit less attractive to artists who aren't local.
  • My advice: donate to the preview party and go to it. The food and entertainment are terrific. They keep it to 120 artists, even though they could fit twice that many into the area, because they want it to be a success for the participants. It is a lovely show, thoughtfully produced.
  • thats what I wanted to hear-thanks! i love that it only has 120 artists
