GETTING CLOSE TO THE 5000 MEMBER MARK--WOW!

Connie, I just noticed we are only a mere 182 (when I first posted this blog we were about 297 shy of the mark) members shy of 5000.  I would say that is a significant milestone when reached.

So what are we going to do for celebration?  Anybody got any great ideas?

Virtual champagne toasts don't get it.

Maybe me and Webbie will suprise you and Norm up in cozy Coldwater with some fresh tequila shots.

I am thinking Geri could bring a truckload of fresh sushi--lots of hamachi, Geri.

Munks could show up be-kilted with a few pipes, maybe bring along Mrs. Munks too.

Oh, and where the heck is that girl on her flying broom been lately?  Anybody seen her.

Maybe, just maybe, we could lure William out of his Kansas City storm cellar.

I am going to go out on a limb, I think we will reach number 5000 around May 15.

We could start a lottery on guessing the right date for numero 5000.

Oh well back to cutting a jillion mats for Ft.  Worth, but this was a great diversion.

Let's hear from the rest of you.  We don't turn 5000 every day!  Nels.8871869498?profile=original

  • Ah Barry, methinks below that "Oily" exterior beats a heart of gold.  Knock 'em dead!
  • Connie, I'm doing Ok City, again.  Since gas prices are through the roof, I expect sales to be really good.  We'll see.
  • Forget about May 15, at this rate we will hit 5000 before month's end.
  • Barry, are you doing Oklahoma City??? I would love a report back on that. We never did that show and have only heard sketchy reports over the years.
  • Bring them to Oklahoma City after the show.  We can throw them at all the rapture people who come by trying to convert me.
  • Barry, when I am in FT. Worth next week I will look for some day-old tacos then you and I can have a faceoff at the OK Corral--Pasties vs. Tacos.
  • I can be in Birmingham in May, or anyone passing through southern Michigan can stop in here instead. We live right near the Indiana Toll Road and I-69. Who's up for a celebration?

No pasties, Barry. Only hummus and tabbouleh allowed here.

  • I'm going to bring the pasties for the pasty throwing contest.  If I buy them now, they should be in great condition for the event.
  • Nels, you're doing Fort Worth?  You should mention that in every one of your posts.

I'm up for a party at Connie's.  The weekend of the 14th is the Birmingham, MI show, so if you have it on the 14th, I can't be there.  You could always rent a room at the Raddison.

  • I have been going back to edit this blog, when I can< and change the number needed to reach 5000.  As we near it, it seems more are joining--zowee!
